~askartelupäivän satoa / crafty day cards~

VÄSYTTÄÄ!!! ihan kamalasti. Tänään olin siellä scrapbook kaupassa askartelemassa.. aamukymmenestä ilta yhdeksään. hohhoijaa.. Enkä saanut tehtyä kuin 5 korttia. No, parempi se kun ei mitään :). En jaksa nyt enempää kirjoitella, joten laitan tähän vain korttien kuvat. Huomenna sitten lisää tekstiä uusista jutuista. Kuvat ovat hieman tummia (taas) ja ne piti napsia nopeasti koska kameran patteri on melkein lopussa.

OMG, I am sooooooo tired!!! Today I was in a scrapbook shop crafty day.. well, I was the only one making cards. From 10am until 9pm +yawn+. I only managed to make 5 cards! Oh well, better that than nothing :). I just can't be bothered writing more tonight, so I am just going to put here pictures of the cards. Tomorrow some more writing :). Pictures are a bit dark (again) and I had to take them pretty fast as my camera battery is nearly dead.

~liikaa tekemistä / too much to do~

iiiiiik! En ole ehtinyt askartelemaan ollenkaan moneen päivään.. mutta ei huolta, vielä täällä ollaan elossa :). Huomenna aion soittaa että olisiko perjantain askartelupäivään vielä vapaita paikkoja. Tuntuu että on pakko päästä vähän askartelemaan!

Eeeeek! i haven't had a chance to be crafty in days.. but no worries, I am still alive :). Tomorrow I am going to give a call to the scrapbook shop and see if they still have availability for Friday's crafty day. I so want to get out and just be crafty and socialize a bit.

~ensimmäiset 5 sokeri korttia / the first 5 Sokeri cards~

Sain just viestiä että ainakin yksi viidestä Sokeri kortista oli tullut perille, joten laitan nyt tänne kuvat jokaisesta kortista. Vielä pitää koristella toiset 5 ja taidankin aloitella jo nyt ennenkuin menen nukkumaan.. pari kun niistä lähtee Huutojuttujen seuraksi.

I just got a message that at least one of the first 5 cards have arrived, so I am going to put here pictures of all of them. I still need to decorate the other 5 and mail those. Looking forward to it actually :).

~keijukortti / fairy card~

No, jopas tänään tulee postiteltua blogissa. Päätin käyttää vielä sitä kolmattakin vintage leimasinta mistä tykkään.. Tällainen kortti tuli sitten siitä.

Well, i seem to be posting a fair bit today. I decided to use also the third vintage stamp which I like. This is what I made. I love that sentiment as it always makes me think of myself. I have been doing that a loooong time, ie. flying when I thought no one else is watching. Time to change.

~ostoksia / shopping~

Kukahan on törsäillyt... iik! kääk! Voi hyvänen aika miten ihana kasa papereita ja nyt iso kasa myös leimasintyynyjä millä voi väritellä kuvien reunoja. Jeee! Jee! Olen jo nyt rakastunut kaikkiin papereihin :).

I wonder who has been spending.. eeeeek! *scream* Goodness me, what a huge pile of papers and now also a big pile of ink pads so that I can color picture edges. Yippee! I am so in love with all the papers already :).

~ystävyys / friendship~

Ihanaa! Taas sain tehtyä kortin. Tulee aina yhtä hyvä mieli kun saa kortin valmiiksi. Ja vintage leimasimien käyttö jatkuu. Tässä siis nro 2 niistä minun kolmesta suosikista. Oli ihan pakko saada pari kukkaakin korttiin.. taas.. *Laura tykkää kukista!*

Sain eilen Miss Marple DVD setin ja minusta on ihana askarrella samalla kun katselen niitä jaksoja. Minulla on yleensä aina tv päällä kun askartelen. Entä miten muilla? Tykkäättekö askarrella hiljaisuudessa... vai onko radio päällä, tv? Musiikkia?

Wonderful! I managed to get another card done. Everytime when I get a card done, I feel so happy. And I am continuing using the vintage stamps. This is #2 of my three favourites. I also just had to add a couple of flowers.. again..*Laura loves flowers!*

I got the Miss Marple DVD box set yesterday and I love being crafty when watching those episodes. I usually always have tv on when I am crafty. How about you? Do you need silence.. or do you have radio or tv on? music? I would love to know.

~väärinymmärretty / misunderstood~

Hyvänen aika että tuli värkättyä tämän kortin kanssa. Aloin jo eilen illalla tekemään korttia. Halusin käyttää tuota vihreää ja oranssia, mutta mikään ei toiminut niiden kanssa. Ei löytynyt mitään sopivaa paperia, ei oikeaa nauhaa.. ei mitään. meni hermot ja se ensimmäinen leimakuva (tämän piti olla kissakortti aluksi) lensi roskiin. Tänään sitten päätin kokeilla uudelleen. Vintage ei ole ihan minun tyyliä mutta minulla on pari leimasinta joista tykkään tosi paljon. Tämä on yksi niistä. En ollut tätä edes aikaisemmin käyttänyt! Ei tästä kortista mikään huippu tullut, mutta sainpas sen tehtyä ja vielä niin että olin kuitenkin siihen ihan tyytyväinen. Ihanaa! Nyt voi sitten mennä nukkumaan.

Goodness me.. I certainly fiddled with this card a lot. I started creating a card last night. I so wanted to use that green and orange, but nothing worked with them. I couldn't find a suitable paper, nor ribbon.. nothing! Today I decided to try again. Vintage is not really my style but I have a couple of stamps which I absolutely love. This is one of them. I hadn't even used it until now! This card didn't end up being so super, but I managed to get it done and was even pretty happy with it. Wonderful! Now I can go to bed :).

~uusia kukkasia! / new flowers!~

Jippiii!!! Lisää ihania Prima kukkasia. Nämä uudet on kyllä kauniita. Kukkien koristeena on pitsiprintti tai sanoja jne. Haluttaisi aina vain hankkia ne jokaikisenä värinä.. iiik! Mutta eipä taida oikein rahat riittää.. Varsinkin kun pistin just Papertreyink leimasintilauksen menemään.. oli pakko saada leppikset ja perhoset. Toivottavasti ne tulevat pian.

Yippee!!! More lovely Prima flowers. I think these new ones are so pretty. They are covered with lovely lace print or words etc. I would love to have them all different colours.. eeeek! But I don't think I quite have enough money.. especially as I just made an order at Papertreyink. I just had to get the ladybugs and butterflies. I hope they will arrive soon.

~Fluffels cat~

Iiiiiiik! Tykkään tosi tosi tosi paljon tuosta Fluffles kissasta. Se on hirmuisen suloinen. Tässä taas yksi kortti jonka tein annetun layoutin mukaan. Layout on täältä. Väritys ei näytä niin kivalta kun halusin.. pitää vain harjoitella :)

Eeeeeek! I love that Fluffles cat. It is so so so cute! Here is another card made using a given sketch. I got the sketch from here. The coloring doesn't look as nice I would have wanted it to.. just have to practice.. and get some of that blender stuff. :)

~korttikilpailun kortti / card contest card~

Noniin, päätin kokeilla eri korttityylejä ja osallistuin korttikilpailuun. Kilpailussa siis on valmiina pohja .. tai siis kortin layout. Ja siitä tehdään sitten oma versio. Oli ihan kiva kokeilla tätä! :) Ja samalla oppii eri tyylejä tehdä kortteja.

So, I decided to try different ways of making cards and decided to take part in a card contest. You are given a card layout (or sketch) and you make your own version of that. It was really nice to try this! :) And I get to learn different styles of making cards, which I love.

~Sininen possu / Blue pig~

Sain tehtyä tänään kortin. Jippii! Vieläkin se korttien tekeminen jotenkin jännittää.. aina tuntuu että siitä on tultava superhieno ja ihan täydellinen. Olen nyt yrittänyt vain alkaa tekemään ja kokeilemaan uusia juttuja. Se onkin auttanut. :)

I managed to make a card today. Yippee! Making cards still makes me feel a bit anxious.. I always feel that the card has to be super fantastic and perfect. No wonder I haven't made many cards. Now I have tried to just relax and keep trying different things. It has helped, which is fabulous. :)


Tässä on siis minun sininen possu. En kertakaikkiaan saanut värejä näkymään niin hyvin kuin olisin halunnut. kääk! Korttiin käytin erivärisiä kartonkeja ja raitapaperia. Niiden lisäksi väritin kuvan Marvy Uchida kynillä ja vesikynällä. Ruusujen ja oranssin raidan päällä on Stickles kiilleliimaa.

Here is my blue pig. I just couldn't get the colours to show as well as I would have wanted to. eeeek! I used different cardboards and stripey paper (no idea what brand). In addition to those, I coloured the picture using a water pen and Marvy Uchida pens. Roses and the orange stripe are covered with Stickles glitter glue.

My partner liked the card so much, she wants to give it to him mum on sunday. fabulous! :)

Kortit lähtivät matkaan! / Cards have been mailed!

Tänään lähti matkaan 5 Sokeri korttia.. ja vielä olisi 5kpl niitä tarjolla, jos joku haluaa :). En laita vielä kuvia teoksista.. odottelen että ne tulevat ensin perille. Oli kyllä tosi mukava koristella niitä.

Today I mailed the first 5 Sokeri cards.. and there are still 5 more available, if someone is interested :). I am not going to put here pictures of the first 5 yet. I will wait that they arrive to their destinations first. It was so much fun decorating them. I love my cat :)

Eilen sain iiiiiiihania kukkasia postissa. Pääsin niitä jo vähän testailemaankin. Olen yrittänyt etsiä sellaisia oikeanmallisia ja nämä on just sellaisia.
Yesterday I got gorgeous flower punchies in the mail. I already got to test them a bit. I have been trying to find the right kind of flowers, and these are exactly what I was looking for. I love them.

Kuka haluaa Sokeri-kortin? / Who wants a Sokeri card?

Hihii! Päätin teettää muutaman postikortin... eli 100kpl minun sokeri kisuliinin kuvaa :). Halusin niitää harjoituskappaleiksi että voin niitä koristella mielin määrin ja vähän harjoitella... siis että niitä voi vapaammin kokeilla koristella kun niitä on niin paljon.

*grin* I decided to get some postcards printed... 100 cards of my baby Sokeri :). I wanted them to have something to practice on. I can decorate those in any way I want and be as experimental as I want.. feel free to do whatever i want, because i have so many of these cards. Sometimes I still find it difficult to just do my own thing and know that it is just as good as everyone else's style.
